RMEB staff Attends 2006 National Auctioneers Association Conference and Show.

David P. Whitley CAI CES, Casey Giddings CAI and other RMEB staff recently attended the National Auctioneers Association’s 2006 National Conference and Show held in Orlando Florida.  While there, Whitley competed in the 2006 International Auctioneer Championship.  Although he did not come out on top Whitley stated, “Competing in a contest with the best Auctioneers in the world is a nerve racking yet enjoyable experience.  I believe I make myself a better Auctioneer and bid caller every year by preparing for and competing in the IAC.  Who knows?  Maybe next year will be my year to win!”

The Conference and Show offered a week jam packed with educational opportunities for RMEB Auctioneers and staff.  Educational sessions on everything from determining the highest value and best use of a piece of property to guerilla marketing were attended.  RMEB strives to stay on the cutting edge of auction marketing technology.  NAA President William Sheridan CAI appointed Whitley to the NAA Technology Committee.
