RMEB staff attends 2007 National Auctioneer’s Association Conference and Show.

Four members of the staff of Rocky Mountain Estate Brokers Inc. recently attended the National Auctioneers Association Conference and Show held in San Diego California.  They attended numerous educational seminars covering topics including real estate auctions, live internet bidding, antiques & collectibles, how to effectively market on the internet and more.  They also explored the world’s largest trade show for auctioneers and saw the latest and greatest products and services available to serve the needs of auction clients.

While there, David P. Whitley CAI CES and Casey Giddings competed in the 2007 International Auctioneer Championship.  While neither came away with the top prize, Giddings said, “It was an excellent learning experience competing against many of the country's best auctioneers.  I learned things to make myself a better auctioneer.”  Whitley also served on a three-member panel about how to get started in the auction business.  Incoming NAA President Tommy Williams also appointed Whitley to another term on the NAA’s Technology Committee.
